On June 5th, a lithium battery production safety emergency drill was successfully held at our company, Dongguan Beston Digital Technology Co., Ltd., in Qingxi Town, Dongguan City. Many leaders and guests attended the event, including Lin Haipeng, Deputy Secretary of the Qingxi Town Committee; Huang Xuguang, Director of the Emergency Management Bureau; Fang Heyun, President of the Dongguan Battery Industry Association; as well as safety production managers from various villages (communities) and nearly 100 safety managers from battery industry enterprises in Qingxi Town.

The purpose of this drill was to enhance the emergency response capabilities of enterprises in dealing with lithium battery production safety incidents, ensuring that in the event of an emergency, they can respond quickly and orderly, minimizing casualties and property damage. Through this drill, the safety production awareness and emergency handling capabilities of enterprises have been further strengthened, laying a solid foundation for the safety production work in Qingxi Town.

At 2:00 PM that day, the drill began on time. Before the drill, the company's professional firefighters demonstrated the combustion phenomena of lithium batteries under two types of external forces: puncture and hammering. During the on-site experiment, the battery cells quickly emitted dense smoke, followed by high flames.

This fully demonstrated the combustion characteristics of the batteries. Subsequently, the firefighters, equipped with fire extinguishers, safely and efficiently extinguished the burning batteries.

At 2:05 PM, as the scene transitioned (signaling the start of the drill), the alarm suddenly sounded, indicating a fire in the aging workshop, with thick smoke billowing. The company immediately activated its internal emergency response plan. The chief fire emergency commander quickly arrived on-site to assess the situation, while the emergency rescue team, emergency evacuation team, medical team, logistics support team, and communications emergency team swiftly took their positions at designated locations.

1. The workshop personnel were evacuated in an orderly manner, and a headcount was completed quickly within just 3 minutes.
2. The logistics support team swiftly reported and managed the power control situation.
3. The emergency response team worked closely and orderly, ensuring that issues at the rescue site were quickly reported back to the command center and that they followed the correct instructions.
4. The medical team provided orderly treatment to the injured firefighters on site. 

After the drill, battery industry safety managers from Qingxi Town, led by a battery expert hired by Qingxi Town, visited and studied battery safety management at Beston Digital Technology's workshop. They also conducted an analysis and evaluation of on-site management measures.

The fire emergency drill was a complete success, showcasing the company and relevant departments' capabilities and readiness to respond to emergencies. This drill has laid a solid foundation for ensuring the safety of production and the lives and property of employees.
